The room is filled art & artefacts illustrating the 750 year relationship between Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge and the River. In particular there is a stunning picture of Billingsgate Fish Market at 6am, painted by artist George Elgar Hicks in 1861, showing a scene of early morning trading which embodies our historic & ongoing interests in business, produce & the City of London.
