The Banqueting Hall boasts not one but three world famous 18th century pictures of the Royal Family. In pride of place is a spectacular oil painting of the young and newly married Queen Victoria painted in 1841 by Herbert Luther Smith. It is accompanied by impressive oil paintings of both her father, HRH Augustus Frederick The Duke of Sussex, and her uncle HRH Edward The Duke of Kent, both painted in 1816 and 1818 respectively by Sir William Beechey.
